In the Purebred Arabian Novice Plate for 4YOs over 1400m, Gaeeda Al Shahania (Mared Al Sahra x Salma Al Khalediah) showcased her class once again, securing her second straight victory over the same course and distance to remain unbeaten in Qatar. The filly, owned by Al Shahania Stud, trained by Rudy Nerbonne and ridden by Lukas Delozier, produced another strong performance to win by three quarters of a length. Texas Traveler CS (T M Fred Texas) put up a strong challenge to take second place while Alnood (Mared Al Sahra) finished in third, further two and a half lengths behind.
